The heavy-duty Ballistix AURA Laptop Shoulder Bag from Slappa is made to survive some tough action. Its ballistic nylon outer material is water and tear resistant. The bag has good quality zippers and nice big zipper pulls, heavy super shiny mirror plated alloy clasps, and a thick, adjustable strap with a shoulder pad.

Though the AURA is tough, it does include a nicely quilted inner lining with soft laptop padding. The laptop pocket fits either 15.4" or 17" notebooks. A separate laptop sleeve accessory ($35.99 at time of publication) is available. This zippered sleeve will provide extra protection for computers and can be used as a handy alternative to the bigger bag.

All in all, the Ballistix AURA Laptop Shoulder Bag from Slappa is a very impressive product. The materials are first-rate, the design is functional, and the overall look is stylish and cool. Though it does have some hard outer areas along the top and sides (perhaps why the college student found it uncomfortable), those materials will keep one’s gear protected. So, while this bag is not perfect for everyone, to many it will no doubt be a favorite. It would also make great carry-on luggage for those traveling with a laptop.
